We had a most excellent experience here. Awesome food, service and atmosphere. Also a nice wine selection. I believe there's a very positive, chill vibe which, in part, is due to the exceptional people working here. The manager, Tyler, was very engaged and hands-on, delivering dishes, talking with guests and supporting the staff. We had the meatballs (OMG!!) and the spinach dip appetizers. Never had fried parmesan bowtie pasta but it was delicious! Had the Meatball Breeze thin pizza ( meatballs/spinach/sun-dried tomatoes ) - so tasty and fresh! All of their food is from scratch and the flavors confirm that. We can't wait to come back with friends to share this wonderful experience with them.

We started with the Caesar salad, and it was absolutely delicious, featuring a homemade dressing that truly made it stand out. However, the undisputed star of the show at Ava Pizza and Wine Bar is their Detroit Style Pizza. This isn't just good pizza; it's exceptional. We tried the Mediterranean, and it was "off the hook" – piled high with fresh, vibrant vegetables, an excellent assortment of cheeses, and a dough that was both light and incredibly crispy. It's clear that high-quality ingredients and meticulous preparation are at the heart of their offerings. While Ava Pizza and Wine Bar might not be a budget-friendly option like a quick slice from Gotto's, the slight bump in price is absolutely worth it for the superior quality of ingredients and the expert preparation. I love pizza. I don’t care if it’s Neapolitan pizza, NY Style pizza, Chicago deep dish, or this amazing Detroit Style Pepperoni pizza that Ava’s has. I stop in all the time to get one. Most often it’s for a to go order but we have also eaten in a few times. The staff is great. Very friendly and attentive. Food comes out quickly whether you are dining in or getting it to go. They have a great variety of pizza and food options. So if the Detroit style pizza isn’t for you, I am sure they have something else that will satisfy you.

Our waitress Trinity was great. Very attentive. I love the Detroit pizza. Know that it is small - only 4 slices. The thin crusts are 6 - the big guys in our party basically ate a pie each. Caesar salad to split was more than enough for 2, and delicious. The meatball sub was monstrous - also delicious. Chicken Marsala was not good but was promptly replaced with an alternate (spaghetti and meatballs) which was.

We walked in because the prices seemed just right for us. We walked away happy we found a great new eatery in Rehoboth Beach, DE. We dined on the Chef's Favorite, and the Meat, Meat, Meat pizzas. Our server Cindy suggested we pair off our meal with the Malbec. We went back later in the week for their delicious beignets. It's a great find all around. G&B

What a fantastic spot! It’s conveniently located just off the main road, making it perfect for getting together with friends. It’s nice and cozy—not too loud—so you can easily chat without raising your voice! We enjoyed some delicious pizza, pasta, and even gluten-free pasta; everyone loved their meals. Plus, the prices are super reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely a place worth visiting!

The meat ball pizza was great! Loved the flavor. The Shrimp Diavolo had a great flavor. The pasta was nicely cooked. We loved the atmosphere. I love how they accommodate the side of bacon order for our daughter. Highly recommended!

We had a party of about 25, 15 kids and 10 adults. They were happy to accommodate us. The staff wasn’t even frazzled when my 5 year spilled his Shirley temple. Cute little bar if you need to wait to be seated. Kids all enjoyed their meals. The brick oven pizza is delicious! One of the best I’ve had. Open kitchen concept makes the experience even more enjoyable. Also just the right about of cocktail and wine/beer selection. Overall, this place is worth a try and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back again!
